Sweet, how long did the swap take?

What are you using for valvetrain?

Well it took a good weekend. I ran into some problems with the intake, so that set me back a few days, since my buddie had to drill it. Couldnt find the correct T for the pil psi switch, oil line broke, all that little crap adds up. Fuel lines were easy, wiring was easy. Valvetrain is all rebuilt with hardened seats and new springs, valves retainers keepers, etc. nothing SUPER fancy.

I have the stock harness, but theres so much extra stuff, for smog, a/c, lights, everything, not worth the hassle. I looked into harness before i decided which to buy. I was told Street and Performance had a better harness (at $550) then Painless (at $300), Painless didnt have the same color coding, weather tight connectors, or guage at the stock harness,(or so i was told), well let me say this is UNTRUE.

After talking to Painless, I got their harness. There harness is EXACTLY the same coding, guage and connectors, I compared it to the stock harness. It is a stand alone FI harness, it has everyhitng you need and nothing you dont. Very easy to install, and hook up, I have no complaints. Any more questions, let me know!

Glad the harness worked out for you.

What did the TPI come out of? Total project cost?

I got the TPI off of a '92 T/A. I got it at a steal. Basically free.

I would estimate the total cost to be: $900
Thats including:
Fuel Pump, filter, Rubber lines
Harness
VSS
New module, cap, rotor, coil, knock sensor, oil PSI switch, o2 sesnor
Air filter
PROM
And all the other little crap that adds up fast.
