my question first is, has anyone disected a stock chevy tbi wiring harness and converted the tbi set up into a project? if so can you give me some help with how to chop out the non used wiring and tell me for sure what wires i will need? i know that i will, for sure, need the computer harness and the sensor wires and that somewhere at the fuse box there will be hot wires for the computer and fuel injection. or is this even possible? or does any company sell a harness that is for conversions of the tpi system into other vehicles?

i bought a 95 chevy vandura with a 350 tpi and and im tring to convert the engine and tbi setup into a 94 jeep wrangler, but im lost with choping down the wiring harness to only the needed wires. if anyone has info or a diagram of this that has been done please let me know. it would be great help. thanks.

I would look at the diy-efi.org site. Lots of good wiring info for both the tbi and tpi there. I have built several tbi harness's with info that I have gotten from that site. So is your engine a vortec or tpi?

Youd probably have much better luck in the Jeep section because they do more TBI swaps than we do.

from the factory they are seperate harnesses. the only place they meet is where the 12v switched wire is, and the aldl plug is often loomed into the vehicle harness.
