This is what happens when a sawzall is nearby and you have had too much beer to drink. Stats are.....
4.10 gears, hell with 42" tsl's, stock 350/th350/np208/d60 locked/14bolt locked(welded front and rear)/lost about 2,000 lbs by chopping what i did and removing everything i did. added most of it back with the 42's and one ton beef. All this started because a 2003 cavelier pulled out in front of me. Totaled both cars.
upcoming mods include dual sm465's, twinsticked 205 44's, hydro assist steering(crossover right now). Anyway. Take a look. Definitely something interesting. There are before and after photos of it. Obvious which ones are which.

biggest thing keeping me from a cage is lack of funds.

buy a $700 bender and make your own cage. It is cheaper than having a shop do it. This is assuming that you have fab skills and take it slow to make sure it is right and safe.

Never thought of that......Matt here in town has a shark bender. Charges 5$ a bend. Not too bad. But definitely would be cheaper to buy one of my own. sounds like my next large purchase for this truck.

Hows the saying go?

If you let go of the trigger on the sawzall it does stop!

I think I would have shopped around your area for an old ragged out crewcab oilfield truck and swapped the cab over.

$700! Even for a big nasty burb, thats a lil steep if ya got friends.. I could get my truck caged for about $400-$500.

woodywag, my whole point to not doing anything like that is because i wanted something unique and never seen before. definitely got it. it only took like 3-4 blades too.
