here is one I finished a couple weeks ago. did a SOA/SR and flip the springs.
his fenders where stock and totally uncut :D (I love to make 40 purist kringe)
he didnt want to go up, just back to clear the reversed springs. I took a piece of posterboard, slid it up to the top edge of the tub, taped it in place and traced the stock fender, cut it out and slid it straight back allong that top edge (to keep it straight). Trasfered the line onto the tub, marked the distance I slid it back, and transfered it on the other side. Results where a perfect "stock" shape. I would personally cut off the "ear" next to the tail light, but this guy wanted the stock look.

I don't have pics to post yet buy I just finished cutting and installing my man-a-fre fender flares which are extra long for covering axel relocation and wheel travel height. I cut about 2-1/2" off the top of fender area and about 4" back from the rear. At the same time I leveled the rear off to square. There was a previous post that someone showed what I'm talking about.

Ironpig70, the man-a-fre ones are 4-5/8" wide and give you the same cut as Cruiser4242 shows except 2" more above the wheel. Just an option. Mine came out real clean looking. I'll try to grab a pic tonight and post tomarrow. The man-a-fre# is 40xxlff. :cool2:
