While my Polaris 700 Twin is my normal mode these days....I do wheel in my 1947 Willys....so while most of these are ATV pictures...I do have a Jeep.

This is my uncle Ernie. He was very involved with the CA 4WD Assoc in the 80's. If you've been around...You'll remember his 1944 Willys that said HIGH 'OL SILVER on the hood...and his license plate said 1BAD 44. He used to bring the End Dumb Semi to the Sierra Trek every year to take out the trash.

Great pics, Looks like fun, I have had my grizzly for about three months and it is a blast, I look forward to fordyce and the rubicon one of these days. I also have a jeep, 1971 cj5. Something about the quad that is just a bit funner. :D

Looks like you guys have a great time. That is a great way to keep the wife into going with. I bought my wife a Trail Boss and my kids an LT80 a couple of years ago so they would have something to do while I was wheeling around and now we all have quads (5 in all) and a toy box travel trailer as well (thats why my damn trail rig is taking so long to finish).

I love my Jeep...don't get me wrong. But when my wife and I go camping...if we don't have the kids....if we took the Jeep, she just sits there. If we take the ATV's, she gets to participate...plus you can do the trail in about 1/2 time with an ATV.

LOL...that's the funny part..it's all her fault!! I have the story on my website, but essentially what happened, is we had the family down at the Springs for 4 days. My cousin, came down to surprise visit us. His son, drove their Honda Rancher down. My wife asked for my cousin, if she could ride it. He said Gas, Brake, shift....cya.

Hower Family Mantra: Figure it out, or Die cold and alone.

Anyway...3 weeks later and 50K....I had 3 quads, 2 bikes, 1 Hemi and a trailer.

The 50,000 dollar quad ride.

You dont have to have state licenses to use them on the trails out there? Might be fun to throw the quads on the trailer with the rigs when I go out in a year or two.
