I want to put a 203 doubler behind a th350 in my FJ40, my driveline will go from 17.5" to 14.5", will it be OK, or will I need a CV joint?.......all inputs will be welcome.

What is the angle going to be? That is the key here, sounds DAMN short though....Jess?

Wngrog, I just made a quick look, the angle now is maybe 1 or 2 degrees, if I move ithe t-case back 3", it might end up 4 or 5 degrees at the most, not too much of an angle right now.

if your spring over your angles are going to be steep enough to runa c/v - and yes i have made c/v's strong and as short as 12" cc 1/2 ton and 13" cc one ton -Jess :D
