: Swampers- WTF!?
Heavy Metal Toy 01-18-2002, 02:34 PM   I heard an awful rumor. I am sure it's not true, but I just had to check, as it is causing me to lose sleep at night. Someone told me that Interco is no longer making the Swamper. Please debunk this foul rumor for me. Thanks a bunch.

wngrog 01-18-2002, 02:37 PM Interco never "Made" the Super Swamper, they are a tire design company.
Denman actually manufactures all Super Swampers...
As for them stopping production of them...I think not ;)
GloNDark 01-18-2002, 02:38 PM I don't see anything on the website. I don't think that swampers will ever go away. Unless Goodyear buys them up.
http://www.intercotire.com/
:D :D
If Goodyear can buy them up.. That would be the best thing that could happen to me..
Big savings... Very Big savings.... SWAMPERS For ALL!!!!
(of course thats just too good to be true.)

The MT/Rs were way expensive up until recently. 35x12.50x15 was like $250 ea.
I picked some up the other week for $156 ea. Even had the shop throw in a lifetime alignment to seal the deal :flipoff2:
No, the tires aren't used. They are brand new, right from the warehouse. :smokin:
Hmm My 35 12.50 R 15 MTR's were 130.00 after taxes and mounting and balancing and disposal.
:usa: :skull: :skull: :skull:
I could understand the Thornbird tire being canned...
Swampers own the market.
....unless Enron somehow owned the company....

enron bwaha
to bad its so true
fawk now its not as funny as sad
Im4yotas 01-19-2002, 12:33 AM I don't think Interco would ever just cancel the Swamper lines. Too much money in it. Would be sweet to get 35" MTR's for $130 like you Belly, but I can settle for $160. Way better that $250!

Congratulate me, dammit, I'm a wheeler!

Ahhh I see Goodyear realized that the MTR ISN'T made out of Gold!

GRMhick 01-19-2002, 02:05 AM hmm, 250? wow... 2 months after they came out, I got a set (from 4wheel parts no less) for $177 each... List then was $289... I dunno where you were lookin at....
