I have a dana 70 axle out of a 715 kaiser jeep with 5.89 gear and was wondering what other housings I could swap the gear into to get the 8 lug pattern and stronger axles ?:confused:

I'm going out on a limb here but I would have to say...:rolleyes: D70.

but a d70 or a hd d70:confused:

the gears have got to be at least 33 years old... you might want to just buy new ones.

oh yeah... and i think Dana 70 gears go in Dana 70 axles. but that could just be me ;):laughing:

the HD or standard shouldn't matter, it's still a D70. the HD probly just has beefier tubes or something.
