Because cali sucks, but yet I drive in and out of that fawking state atleast 2x a month. I will ship, not really a big deal. Especially if you live near or willing to travel to sac or sfc for forwardair.........strap it to a pallet , 3-4 days and about $75 bucks later it's all yours.
