well I don't run them, but I do run RS9012's. Lately pro-crap(4WheelParts) has just been marketing copys of others products...locking hubs like Warns, tires like Claws, etc. and of course these shocks. If you want them, they would probably be pretty good. I just don't like knock-offs on my rigs (and i'm a cheap bastard). But I wouldn't flame you for using them. They will be a few bucks cheaper than the Rancho's.
BTW, I know this didn't answer your question, but I am bored today and needed a few pad-posts:D

ProComp has been making shocks with the same travel as the 9012's for years... not sure what "new shocks" you are asking about....

I think he's talking about the new ones w/ 6 six different settings.

yep the new adjustable one, called the mx6 its in the new fourwheeler magazine. it does look a little different than the ranchos in that the adjuster is not on the tube part its on the other end. Im wondering about price, and travel, but I also heard that the rancho 5012s and 9012s were valved for dual use. and I need something to help the body roll on my fj40. I have ranchos 90xxs on the rear and 5012s on the front and the roll is terrible onroad. thinkin about replacing the 5012s with 9012s but now these pop up.

I had RS-9000's all around on my blazer with soft coils, I just put those sucka's on the firmest setting and had less body roll than a '99 blazer ( I know I drive one) ....so YES RS 9000's will help your problem. I do plan to run them again on my Scout II also

on my TJ, I use the RS's and i've had my swaybars off for a few years now. I just firm 'em up (dash mount controllers) in the twisties:smokin:

found out that they are single walled too. so that makes the ranchos look that much better. I also emailed procomp and 4 wheel parts for info before I posted this and havent heard anything back yet. still curious about the price and travel.
