Sounds like you'll be passing through my neck of the woods! What kind of work are you involved with anyways? Last I checked there sure wasn't much going on in Talkeetna. Have you been to Alaska before? We might have some wheeling trips going on while your here if you can get some free time I should have a co-pilot seat available.. This winter has been very very mild so far, so theres still alot of "doable" trails.. We ran Knick a couple of weeks ago and most of the group actually made it to the glacier, a few of us had to hang back a do some trail repairs on a TJ.

Anyhow, enjoy your stay and dont work to hard!

Bring it on.. Missed out last time due to having my ass on fire, and trying to put it out, one handed, blind folded. Doing a little better now time wise. We headed out this weekend to do a little practice for an upcoming race, and just to get out. But I should be free some time next weekend to grab a beer and slice of pizza. Drop me a note when you’re free, we'll work something out.

Edit: cuz I'm a non spelling fawker

I use to live in Wasilla. How long have you lived there? Your name doesn't look familiar but I went to school there 82 to 85. Wish I was still there.

Not long at all... We moved to Anchorage from Everett, Wa. about 2 yrs ago and have just in the last 4 months bought our home out here in Wasilla.. What made you move to Ca.?? Its kindof a funny story about us moving up here.. I just came home from work one day and decided that I was tired of my "rut" of a life and asked my at the time girlfriend what she thought and knew about alaska. The next day I put in my two weeks notice and a few weeks after that we drove up here for a scouting trip seeing as how neither of us had ever been here before and didn't really know anybody from around here.. So we went to anchorage and stayed a few days and saw all the surrounding sites and decided we liked it and that we'd give it a try. So we got an apartment and drove back to washington to pack up everything and tell everybody goodbye! Let me tell ya after the 3rd drive from Wa. to Ak. i've had enough of that!

Dang, sorry bout the babble!! http://www.wheelingadventures.com/Board/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/baaa.gif

Alright Bronco 78 we gotta hook up this time. Beer and pizza sounds great. Maybe we can all hook up and rag on all these guys on the board. Well gotta go pack Im leaving in a few hours.

Yes I will. I will be driving to Talkeetna this Tuesday, and we will be back in Anchorage Friday night or Saturday. We will see hopefully I will have time to ride with you. That would be very cool.I am an electrician and have been to AK several times. I even lived in Eagle river for a year in 85. I also worked up there for 3mos. 2yrs ago on the HAARP project in Gakona. I always end up working up there in the winter.

I mainly 'wheel with Land Cruiser people but I'm open to meeting others. I live in S. Anchorage and own a diesel Land Cruiser, diesel Dodge M37, and F350 'expedition truck'. Am working on a diesel FJ45LV wagon on 36.5"s and a diesel Dodge WC53 Carryall on 37s.

I will be going out next weekend to do some trail maintenece with some other fella's, if you want to ride along that is cool.

You would have the pleasure of riding in the ugliest Grand Cherokee on the face of the earth.

If you wanna ride along or meet up give me a mail at bamblair@gci.net

Cool bronco I will be PM ing you here in a minute. I thought there was someone on the board from Willow? there was a decent scout off the road in a parking lot of a repair shop there. My favorite here have to be the bog or tundra hunting rigs. Tractor tires no fenders, just the hood, and 2.5t axles.I saw 2 crew cab 70s dodges like that yesterday.
