Have you hamered over the seam in the front wheelwell yet? I run 32's with a basic SPOA.

You can always look into putting TJ flares on the rear. They allow you to open up the wheel well pretty good for more tire clearance. They also look damn good.

Yup, TJ rears are pretty slick. I run them on my Sammy and I like the way they look. I didn't cut the fenders any when I put them on (except the rear was cut before already), but you can take off an inch or two if you want to. I run rears in the back and I'm putting them on the front, too, but I've only got one side done for now. There is a small write-up on my site about the rears, and I will be putting the front install on my site shortly. Link to my site is in my sig line and the write-up is under the "My Samurai" page. Good luck. ~Steve
PS--- If you do go to TJ flares, beware. The front TJ flares don't fit the front of a Sammy because they are too long. Get 4 rear flares.

I'm running the Double Tough bumper that I got from Trail Tough on mine. It was reasonably priced, uses the stock lights, has a receiver hitch, and has the option of swing out carriers.

Are you talking about the side lights? If so I just ditched them, two less light to get bashed on the trail. I made my own bumper with the run of the mill trailer lights. I like them cuz they are sealed and way brighter than the stockers.

I ran 33's with a 5.5" spoa and all I had to do was hammer out the seam (mentioned earlier in this thread). I'm steppin' up to 35's now and I don't wanna raise the CoG up anymore either, so I've chopped out the old fenderwells completely and fabbed new ones that allow another 4" of clearence, not including that seam that used to be there. NOT for the faint of heart, but a really good way (the safest, IMHO) to gain some breathing room for those big meats.
