I've ran across this seemingly SWEET deal but have many questions, some of which are addressed HERE (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=258409#post258409)

First of all, can a rusty housing be cleaned up and built.

It mostly looked like surface rust but I can't be for sure. There was NO bearings or anything, no pinion, no carrier no shafts, NOTHING just the housing and the Inner & outer knuckles, no spindles or rotors or any of that.

It did look like the good style of axle with the "King pin style" & Flat-top knuckles, just totally stripped

I'm sure I have the skill to turn knuckles for better caster, and I can do a lot of other fabricating, but does that imply that I have the skill to retube a rear HP axle and put these knuckles on that axle (in case the rest of the housing was no good) The reason for that question is that I hear of people talking of axle tube seals and I've never dealt with that or how to apply that to retubing, blah blah blah,

anyway what's your professional opinions??

Now I am assuming a 60 cause you said it was king pin style...so how does it also have flat top knuckles??? Just curious:D cause the king pins are the flat top part:D:D:D

IT DOES HAVE THE MAIN CAPS ON IT....Sweet, It's mine.

I guess the good thing about getting one stripped out and building it, is, I will know EVERYTHING about it when I'm done.
