1978 tracbar question

Gents,

I have a problem. I replaced my lower tracbar mounting bolt with the ingalls kit and that has been super. When I did that I replace the bushings with a set of Moog problem solver urethane bushings. Everything was fine for a couple of hundred miles and the popping started again and it was at the frame mount. I have a drop bracket that came with the lift system. I can see the bar moving around the bushing when the wheel is turned. What are your suggestions? Do I need an adjustable tracbar, heim joints, what? Thanks.

I have had similar problems on my 78. I replaced the bushings, tapered stud in the D44 housing and even strengthened up the frame mount for the track bar. I have also tried heim joints. My problem has been the death shake. I do know the drop bracket for the trac bar adds more leverage where an adjustable trac bar doesnt. Good luck
