I just noticed the other day that 2 of mine on the 40 are about to fall off they're so mangles. I had a nice set of the short steel stems but since the move cannot locate them anywhere and the guy that I ordered them from of course no longer carries them. Just wondering what you guys were using and yep I searched but nothing concrete came up.

You can try http://www.mrt-wheels.com/index.html
They had the flush mount style. I have ran them in the past and never had a problem ripping them out on the trail. Just dont forget the adapter for them.

I would not use the metal stems, there is no give to them if you hit them against a rock or anything they will break. Either run the flush ones Mark is talking about or get the real short all rubber style. The rubber ones will give some and will hold up alot better than the steel stem for off roading.

I'll second the opinion on the steel valve stems. If you rub it across a rock, it won't flex and will break. Just run the rubber ones.
