Mike Knorr 07-07-2004, 01:56 PM This rig works really works well folks. It has been hampered by its driver for years. Someone please liberate this truck from Steve and actually use it.
Soltaker 07-07-2004, 02:19 PM I spy Old Man Roy's :cool2:
Great truck man. Good luck selling it.
shamb 07-08-2004, 09:38 PM nice rig, to bad your across the US, looking for something like this
BensonMN 07-11-2004, 10:37 AM Someone buy this thing, I'm giving it away at this price.
I cannot deliver to California but can easily meet half-way. Professional delivery of vehicles is around $1k. Add that to the price of this rig and your still getting an incredible deal.
Fill the tank and drive...
shamb 07-19-2004, 04:04 PM Is this rig streetable? and does it pass smog?
just curious, thanks
If only you lived closer, the shipping would cost me an additional $1000 and some change.
BensonMN 07-22-2004, 11:44 AM When we had smog here in MN, the truck passed just fine. Since we had smog here when I did the exhaust we went with a high performance cat, a huge flowmaster and larger exhaust. I've yet to here a Toyota that sounds as nice as this one when you get into the throttle. The K&N Kit helps for performance and sound as well. Sounds sweet inside or outside the truck.
Throw on 35 inch radials and you could easily drive this truck from MN to CA without a problem.
You will not find a better built rig for less than $10k.
BensonMN 08-19-2004, 08:27 AM Need cash by Aug 30th, $4800 takes everything.
Roc Doc 08-19-2004, 11:18 AM DOODS!
If this truck is as represented, (and it looks like it to me), then $4800 is a killer deal. I've built almost the exact same truck, (except I have a flatbed), and have WAY more than $8,000 in it. He's right when he says it will do 5+ trails.
I don't know this guy, but it seems like a killer deal to me.
Doc
Goldmember 08-19-2004, 11:36 AM Too bad my life is filled with ifs.... If I had the money, if my Samurai was done, if my samurai was sold, if I had a trailer to bring it home. But for someone who is much closer and has the cash...what a deal.

BensonMN 08-22-2004, 09:16 AM These pics are for TruckTrader...
Truck has not been on the trail this year. Photo's below are from last two rides. You can see some detail of the rock rash. Truck has never been on its top. All window pilars are rash free. Front glass is cracked, has been that way since I've owned it. Interior is nice, all be it dirty. Looks like I need a cover for the missing dome lights. Tires have only been on the trail once since groving.
