What year Scout II did that come out of? Is is 2 or 4 barrel (if 4, square or spread bore)? is it Ca spec (air injection) or fed spec (plugs in the heads)? How many miles? What accessories come mit it? Inquiering minds...

air injection (if you want fed then just pull the tubes and put plugs in heads)

Im interested. I just toasted my motor a few weeks ago. I have a 1979 scout traveler, auto tranny, 345 four barrel. It has smog. Im pretty green when it comes to the specific engine details. I would need to know if your engine would replace mine? I will call you tonight or tomorrow.

That's true, but it takes special $$$ tapered head pugs (pipe plugs won't stop the "whistle"), plus removing the air injection manifolds from the heads is a pain. That's why I asked...

Sorry for bombarding you with so many Q's at once. I was trying to avoid a one-Q-at-a-time back-and-forth (those get OLD). You never did say what year rig it came out of ;)
