I installed a new ring gear in the pig and I can't find the torque specs in my Haynes manual. I used blue (medium) lock tight and torqued the nuts to 65 pounds. Is that with-in the range or do I need to go more?

The torque spec is 76-86 ft. pounds.
The Haynes manual is at best nearly worthless.

I'd use the red locktite.. much more reliable & recomended by gear mfg's. pull the bolts & clean them before loc-titing re-torqing. these are pretty important bolts.
