buddy of mine has an isuzu trooper II with the 2.8 chevy block. he is missing the sensor (forgot to take it off his core) for what is referred to as the oil pressure sender. This truck seems to have a bazillion oil pressure thinga majigy's. this particular unit it supposed to look like a metal can, with ONE wire hookup. Located upper left of the oil filter. Can anyone help? can we just plug this up? or is it needed for a feedback loop within the computer? I think it's just for the gauge, but i'm not sure. any feedback greatly appreciated. thanks!
