today i did something kinda silly. i will admit. i bottomed out and had to get my dad to pull me out. but the story in this story is...i had my rodeo in 4wd but then we just stopped on some mud :( well then i was like ok lets try 4low. i stopped it completely and when i moved it over to put it in it didnt go then it did and wouldnt come out. well i finally got it out. but is there any remedy for this? and i decided on a definate suspention lift after this little mudpile. stock sux! peace

95 Rodeo according to his previous posts.
You have to be stopped to move in and out of 4 low. Don't know if this is what your talking about. But because internals of the T-case are spinning. Sometimes with my 5spd RS, I have to turn off the engine, put it in gear, release clutch, shift T-case, restart motor.

well..........i didn't see his previous post ( not in this thread right? )
the rodeo has a Borg Warner t-case on the back of the 4L30E
your trooper has an isuzu case on the back of the MUA5 trans......which is actually syncronized.......so you should be able to shift while rolling.
on the rodeo............seems that what you have described is not the norm. there really isn't too much to it....you may want to pull the boot, pull the t-case shifter and inspect everything.
as well i would check the fluid level to make sure you are full..............has it continued to do this, or was it a one time thing?

i got a 95 rodeo
i tried putting it in neutral and park. ive only used the 4low once and that was just before i got it to see if it worked. but in this case i got my dads chevy to pull me out i was stuck pretty friggin good. well ill get someone to check it out i dont want to take the thing apart myself so if theres something wrong when its put back together the other guys gonna have to fix it

oh yeah its a auto. i wanted a stick but i got this so ill have to settle
