I have an 85 CJ with a factory Power Steering box, I have swapped in a Dana 60 front and built a high steer system for it. I am sick and tired of making 4 point turns, I have moved the drag link as far back as possible to get as much throw as possible. I cannot use a longer pitman arm either due to clearance issues, I am currently using a Skyjacker drop pitman arm. Does anybody know if a GM (camaro style) box has more throw than the Jeep box? I figure 15 degrees more each way will cure my problems, can ya help out?
Thanks :D

Sorry bud, but your SOL. All Saginaw boxes travel the same amout. There are a few out there that have some stops cast into the inside of the end cap that will limit travel but I've never seen a Jeep box that had them.
Are you sure that the box is the limiting factor? If so, then your only hope is to either lengthen the pitman are or shorten the steering arm.

tell me the meassurement from the center of the upper ball joint to the center of the drag link, than tell me the one on the pitman arm, center of sector shaft to ball joint. Sometimes dropped pitman arms are shorter than stock. also if you have pics, send me some.
