I posted this on IH8MUD, and really want some opinions on this. I have been researching Airbagman.com for quite sometime now and after reading many articles and talking to some guys I know in AUS about it, I am considering something similar for my 80.

It might be an alternative for someone to have best of both worlds. Downside? Maybe flex? I have e-mailed them for info on their kit. They allow for auto leveling side to side and front to rear. I thought it was cool, been thinking of air suspension on my 80 anyway. It would aslo allow you to have a low ride height on the street with correct castor and have 4-6 lift at a touch of a button. At that lift, you are definately running slow so castor correction shouldn't be a factor. I suppose cockpit adjustable pan. rods would be in order also.
I saw the ad and my mind went crazy.

airbagman.com.au

The link doesn't seem to work all the time. I had to do a search for "airbagman" and follow leads until I actually found their site. They seem to be similar to Kelderman Air Ride here in the states, but have a kit for the 80/100.
I am thinking of building my own system since I am not really an off the shelf kind of guy. What do you think?

one issue i see, if you normaly drive at the low height............big(35-37) tireslike you would have with a 4-6" lift.........won't fit.

I am not sure I understand. I would be running 315s and set up the bags to allow for just enough clearance in street mode. I would set the castor high at maybe 6-7degrees for good high speed handling. From that height, with the bags I am thinking of, I could lower another 3" and raise about 8-9". This would give me ample articulation, I would think?
