I use to Install them.

The best is Hoffmann There made in Germany. The best US made is Rotary.

Are you looking for an asymmetrical? Clear floor model? 110 or 220?

I use a bend-pack at work and I love it. It is a little slow but works great. It has a 9K capacity and used to pick my 70 3/4 4x4 Ford with NO problem. We also use the Challenger lifts and they are ancient. They have not given any trouble either. Also 9K capacity.

Just a recommendation....

Find the guy around your area that installs them and find out if
he has any used ones. These guys typically also get paid to remove old ones too.

For reference, I paid 900.00 installed and wired for a 9000 lbs. model with overhead cross member only (nothing of slab).

The hydraulics did leak a little but that was easily fixed.

Thats all I know.

I am in Central Ohio so my guy is a little fay away :(, but he
does have more used ones.

ask the tool truck guys also(snap-on/matco/mac/ect) as they usually have a used one from someone who just upgraded. helped my cousin install one he got for 600 bucks, just needed the motor fixed. only took a day to put it in.

eagle lifts has new ones for about 2k, don't have any personnel experience with them though. i also see one in the local paper/classifieds about once a month.

Hey! I got mine from Joe the matco guy. Spome dude ordered it, insalled it and went bk.Got it cheap, but it has been setting out side my shop for 3 months. I have to add a second door. That is way more money than the lift.

In my shop we use Rotary. Seems to be one of the strongest and most reliable. Ohter than servicing, no problem with them in years of daily use. Ohters are less expensive but weigh the options of your intended use.

Why are you even thinking of a lift, aren't you supposed to be slaving away on our "INDESTRUCTABLE" D44 with warn (or whoever's) shafts and CTM joints?!?!?!:flipoff2: :flipoff2: GET TO WORK MAN!! ;)
