Well, actually we have a group planning an overnight 'camp on trail' run that weekend, so I'll probably see ya sometime. We have only made a few runs to Clayton, and I have not found McKinley Rock yet. But, we checked out Snake Pit last time, and I'm dying to try that one (see picture)! :D :D :D

Shoot Pillard,

Half over at 40? The way I figure it, I wake up every day, and say "it's a good day to die". That way, I don't have to worry about Social Security going broke, medical costs skyrocketing, or getting Alzheimers, and being slapped into a vegetable ward. My wife and I both say "if I get like that, just shoot me"... The older we get, the wilder stuff we're gonna be doing. Sky Diving, Bungee Jumping, you name it. And when it comes that time, we'll just take that walk up the mountain, and be done with it. I'm NOT gonna have a bunch of whiney-assed losers afraid of death putting ME on a machine to keep me alive!

It would be a crime to abandon a good 4X4 up the mountain - you give all your good shit away first. Then maybe have your best buddy (who you just gave your 4X4 to) give you a ride...

Bob, I couldn't agree with you more. But I have 1 complication with that, or rather 4: Children. My wife and I both are the thrill seeker types, but we have to curb it a bit due to the fact that these little buggers need us around. Children: both a blessing and a curse! So anymore, it's never a fine day to die until the last one is out the door to life. But hell, when that day comes, Steph and I will likely want to embark on our former thrill seeking missions that the children forced us to curb! Death will be a great adventure, but I have wait till the end of my days fo him, and not invite him in for dinner. Dig it?

Oh yeah, man. My baby is gonna be 20 next month - makes a big difference! After we all get back from vacationing in Mexico next month, he's gonna fly the coop, and move to Hawaii - no job, no place to stay, just take that leap of faith, and see where life takes him. Well, you just stick with them chilluns, and raise 'em up good, and they will repay you well! Don't look at your age as "getting old", stay young - it's up to you, you know. My sons friends in High School couldn't believe that we listened to the same music they did - but then again, they listened to a lot of music I grew up with in the 70's - we kept telling them "get your own music"...

28, got into Zuks after my brother bought a Sidekick. Only thing I didn't like was the independent front end so I went for the Samis. Started out with a couple of sj410's, traded a four wheeler I had for a lwb, then got another lwb sami, another sj410, then another lwb, just can't turn them down. In the middle of restoring my 82 sj410 right now

Us old geezers like the more comfortable ride of the Sidekicks - yeah right. When I'm done with mine, it'll have RCi seats and 5-point harnesses attached to the roll cage, but for now it's plain-jane stock. The benefit of being an old geezer, is that I make enough money to buy all the stuff I want. I'm not experienced with fab work - I work in wood, not metal. But I have a feeling that's gonna change, the more I push my Kick...
