I'm curious as to why you want a 4 cyl?

You could probably find a chevy v6, auto tranny, and transfercase for much quicker and maybe cheaper. When the junkyards around here hear the word Jeep the price goes up.

I am doing a V8 conversion in a 1998 TJ. It has a 4cyl with a 5speed manual and a 231 with about 40,000 miles on it.

A month is pretty quick, but make me an offer, and I could pull it for you.

I have everything from 88-00. Any specific colors on the fender? Auto for a four cyl might be hard to come by. I'll let you know more tomorrow. ( Six cyl might be cheaper - just a thought)
