: tow rig prices?

lets talk about prices.....

what do yall think of a

1995 f250 powerstroke diesel, xlt, supercab, 4x4, 8 foot bed, with 80,000 mles on it... asking 15,000 at a dealer.... theyre saying it is mint.... im thinkin of offering 13000$ good price?

If you get that for 13 and it really is mint, that's a damn good deal.

anyone got a carfax setup, ill get the vin and check a little further...

also want to sample the antifreeze for cavitation

Sounds good but you might wanna check to see if the trans. is original....the PSD eat auto. trans. often......try to get them to give you a warranty of somekind......Good Luck..

yeahh i sure do know that, thanks, was gonna look into that area too...... much rathered the 5 spd, but if i can get it for a good price, with all checked out and a little warranty..... ill make the auto sacrifice....

btw i got a guy who knows a few tricks that i will have him do to the tranny, plus i will put my gearvendor o/d unit on there too

That's sounds pretty good to me. I just looked at a 97 extended cab 4x4 with 33" AT's, Auto, PSD and 120K on it. It was a pretty nice truck, but no where near perfect and they wanted 17K for it. I thought that was high, but it is a PSD.

They also have a 96 2WD Chevy Diesel, x-cab, L O N G bed with 200K and all power options for 6.5K which is pretty decent IMHO.

FWIW, just sold a 99 f250 psd xlt trim, Super Cab longbed with gooseneck and brake controller with a newly rebuilt AT and new tires with 150k miles for 10, 950. Other than the hiway miles it was mint save for 2 cig burns in the interior and the diesel ran like a top.

UPDATE.... this thing is loaded.... captains chairs, center console, cruise, remote entry, antitheft, polished wheels, lund visor (lights), running board, bugshield, bedliner, cd player, tinted window's...... new tires, brakes, all new fluids/ filters... tranny shifts good, new windshield... the paint is in perfect condition, the interior is immaculant...

info4cars, show no discrepancies for this vehicle..... one owner, transfered to son....

we are still playing with the price.... at 14,700 as of now.... we will see, ill know tomorrow

How about a 2000 F250 psd supercab 4x4,60k miles, auto, 8' bed, xlt, for $15,000 the only problem it's an r-title truck.

my dad has a 95 f250 powerstroke diseal extended cab w/ 35" m/t tires and rancho 9000's, let me tell you its a beast :) it will pull almost anything out.

well i got the check from PPFCU today..... ill be picking her up in an hour..... wooooo hoooooo.......... ohh the price was good but then got better once they found out i was a city officer :rolleyes: dont quite get that... then it got even better once they realized, that my Mother used to work there.... i will not post what i payed due to resale issues down the road... :flipoff2:


ill feel much more comfortable towing long distance now..... the western trip is getting closer.... GET IT



hmmmm what mods wil i do first? chip? exhaust.... hmmm both? :D
