The Coal Miner Cruiser Classic was this past weekend at Paragon Adventure Park in PA. I went and had a blast. I've taken my 40 through lots of mud and water but have never been on rocks... it was a learning experience... and a fun one at that. Did anybody else on the list attend?

Yup. There Thurs thru Friday. Got quite a workout w/the 45. Manual steering and aired down 35's kinda suck on tight trails! :D

BTW, in case you did not see the email, I've copied and pasted the contents below.
Thank you to everyone that attended this years Coal Mine Cruiser Classic. It was a great event and it appeared as if everyone enjoyed themselves safely.
Thank you to:
Brian OLaughlin who did a lot of everything, from trail guiding to keeping me calm
Dan & Renee Elminger who among other things, got the shirts done and helped sell merchandise. All of the credit for the awesome shirts goes to Renee. Super job.
Jon Held handling all the registration, both during and leading up to the event and trail leading
Mark Woytovich helping us with databases for the event, leading trail and providing us with advice from prior CMCCs
Mike Stevens who pulled together a spectacular raffle and was a big help with everything
Bob Lopez & Nicole Musto among other things, for getting us the best food ever at CMCC. I can not begin to tell you how many great things I heard from folks about the food.
John Embrey among other things, leading trail
Ken Millhouse among other things, leading trail
Matt Read among other things, leading trail and helping us switch folks from one group to another
A big thank you to the folks at Paragon; including but not limited to: both Kyles and both Stephanies. Their park is super, the staff is friendly and helpful and we always know they are doing their best to work with us in every situation.
A special thanks to Jason Janowitz. I never knew what he did at CMCC, but now I do. He does everything. Any time during the event that we needed help, he was there. He helped lead trail, he sold raffle tickets and worked as the money person at the event.
Thank you to everyone else as well. The key priority with our event is to be safe, then to have fun. Apparently we succeeded in this and a lot of folks enjoyed themselves.

We ended up with about 65 trucks and a little over 100 people. Yet, with that said, we had manageable group sizes without a single group being overburdened by having too many people.
Some of what could be improved on? Well, as president of the club, I failed to get stickers for the event and I should have gotten the paperwork up on the website sooner. With that and our policy of no walk-ins, we still had little issue. Why? Because the people that attend our event are super. I wish I would have remembered stickers though.
If you have any feedback on the event, constructive or otherwise, please email it to mike@yourlandcruiser.com .
Again, thank you for participating in the event and helping make it one of the most enjoyable events ever.
NO dogs? WTF......................pecker wood.

I wheeled Saturday and Sunday... I couldn't make it out on Friday. Mark W. led the ride Saturday and we had a great time... I was the one who with the reeeeaaaaally dirt FJ40... I think I found the only deep mud in the place. Only a handful of us wheeled sunday (I saw you pull into the lot but figured you went home when you didn't show up down the hill) and I drew the short straw as leader... but with only two winches in the group, it made sense one of them was up front. We didn't do anything too hard on Sunday, the weather kept us from it... mostly greens and a few blues.
I have some pics but the file(s) are too big to send to you. I posting them on another site... I'll send you a PM through the GCLC forum with the link.

My girlfriend and I were there for the first time and it was great.
I meet some new cruiserheads that I had never been around before and learned alot since this was my first time out(take everything out of cubby under radio).
I would like to say thanks to Jason for being our trail leader Saturday and even though we had a FORD truck holding us back some we had a good ride with no damage.
