I have seen a few of these "custom" style canvas tops on TLCs rigs. I have a feeling they are as common as Vegemite down under. Does anyone know of a supplier that sells this style top?

Marv might have a source in SA, think Ken got a new canvas top for his 45 troopy.

boat canvas shop could make something. the bows would not be hard.

this is the OEM option for stake bed.

www.google.com.au has them all over in the classifieds but no sources for new that I can find. And yes, the www isn't really world wide. I guess I need to take another vacation to Australia and ship this stuff home. The prices were unreal the last time I was there.

Here is a guy in Canada that could probably make one http://www.truck-canopy.com/index.html don't look at the prices though

Found a supplier for the 2001 style Cruisers:

There is a So.Cal company called CanBack that makes truck bed tops for various makes. They appear to be very well made, will support a ConFerr roofrack on top, etc.

Somebody told me that Man-A-Fre paid to have some of these made for the lwb and they are selling for $1700. I have not confirmed either the availablility or the price. Just sharing the rumor. Feel free to post confirming details.

I cannot find anything on Man-a-fre's web site!!!! How hard is it to include a search function? I emailed can-back and I will post when I hear back from them.

For the longest time MAF had a completely useless site, at least it's better than it was. Marv does know someone in SA who can make canvas tops. I still haven't gotten mine for the troopie. The first one got lost between SA and CA. A second one is being made.

Unreal cheap....stuff was priced cheaper than in the States. Then you figure the exchange rate and it only got better. Prices have changed a little since then so instead of 75% off what you are used to paying, it is more like 60% off now. Shipping was minimal on the few things I sent home. I plan on going back next year. This time, I will have a better understanding of what to do. The last vacation was the first time I have ever left the U.S. and I really didn't know what to expect. Up to that point, I had only ventured outside Colorado maybe twice. Australia is huge, the pic below is the Nevis in NewZealand...good times :D

Are you using normal twist lock fasteners or some sort of rail on the sides of the bed?
And you planning on putting windows on the sides?

Can you say booty fab?
Ehsan's rear bow on his soft top would work if you got about 3 or 4 of em. then run stringers and have canvas made.. Just food for thought. .

We here are going to start making the 45 soft-tops in canvas and double layered vinyle in the next month. What is the hieght of the OEM bows.. Is it the same as the roof of the front cab?
