Ok guys, although its been really nice for a year having great gas mileage and creature comforts, i'm really jonesing for another 4x4. I am mainly looking to make a trade. What i have is a 1995 Eagle Talon Esi (non turbo). Its only got 109,000 miles on it, and the head was replaced at 99,000 miles.. so the engine runs VERY strong. the clutch and throw out bearings were replaced at about 103,000 miles give or take. driving at about 60-65 on the freeway, i can get about 500 miles to a tank, and its a 16 gallon tank. Thats about 30 mpg. It has power everything, AC, cruise control, cd player. it also has an aftermarket muffler, i just wanted something a little louder because i'm used to loud trucks and what not, so i just got one from the muffler shop. it actually sounds pretty good, its a low tone, not real high pitched until you get into the very high rpm's. OH, almost forgot, it also has chrome '99 GST 16 inch rims with new tires. i get MANY compliments on the rims.
The bad.
front bumper is cracked (hit curb back when car was lowered) but i may be able to fix and repaint. its not a huge deal, it was cracked when i got it and has never bothered me.
something is wrong with powersteering pump. it does still work, but i can feel it dragging on the engine if the belt is on the pump, so i just took the belt off it and it runs much better without.. its not that hard to drive without powersteering unless you're a pansy. :flipoff2:
and thats it folks.. the headliner and driver side door handle are broken but i will be replacing/fixing those before i sell/trade. I am open to pretty much any offer, it has to be 4x4 and it has to be somewhat street legal. i do have many pics but no red star.
i am located just north of houston.. but am willing to maybe drive a little distance.
