I have a '77 F-150 shortbed that I want to put F-250 axles on it out of a '75. I would like to put the leafs out of the '75 on the front and back of the short bed and take out the coils and radius arms. Does anyone have any advice, ideas, or pictures on how to do it simple and easy? need bigger axles for my big block!

You will be spending alot of time and effort only to gain a slightly higher GVWR. You will also lose some front gear strenth, since you will be swaping in a standard rotation front. The rear will bolt in. I would just swap over the big hub 44 outers, this is the only thing that is "bigger." Also as a side note almost all 79 back trucks had a Big Block, just a matter of displacment. Also to be noted that since a 460 was only in a 2wd, they were held up just fine by a set of coils.
