some one told me that you could put a chevy 350 in my 73 scout II really easy but i dont believe them if you can how whould you do it and is it worth it or not

It is easy if you have a crain or forklift or something...just lift the motor and set it in the engine compartment..you may not be able to close the hood if you leave the other motor in there though....

Guess the easyest would be to switch the tranny and t-case at the same time, but it's still alot of work...

Why sure I can, but it is gonna cost ya:flipoff2: You can either swap in a chev motor/tranny/t-case, or get the adapter from AA to mate the 350 to the IH trans. After you decide on this, it is just a matter of fabing up motor mounts and hooking everything up. Pretty easy if you have some exerience
