: A problem with High Angle Driveline!!
Mr. Infinity 01-23-2002, 11:14 AM Before Christmas I ordered driveshafts from Jesse. I started installing the shafts on Friday before Christmas eve (in a rush to get things done for the Annual Christmas Eve run here.) Any way, the front did not work as planned. Jesse had already told me he was going on a snow run and leaving at 3:00pm his time, well I catch him about 1:30pm and fill him in on what is wrong. He wants to think on it for a few minutes. Before I call him back I talk to Shaker and he quickly reminds me of something. I am back on the phone with Jesse, its now around 1:45pm(Jesse's time). He is going to have to completely redo the shaft by the time Fedex runs around 2:45pm then ship it Sat. delivery. I don't remember how much beer I drank pacing the shop in the next hour. Jesse calls around 3:00pm, the only way he could get the shaft done was to take his chrome shaft out of the showroom and rework it. He missed Fedex, so he sent someone to catch the Fedex guy at his last stop for the day. I got my shaft Saturday morning and bolted it in, worked Great.
Where is the problem you ask in this novel, the power steering pump took a dump on me Sunday night at 9:30pm, so driving it on the run with no power steering sucked. JUST KIDDING, that had nothing to do with Jesse.
Jesse sorry to scare you, you are THE MAN!! My family and I thank you very much for getting that out the door that afternoon. You could have easly said you didn't have time to get it done, but you didn't. You also sent me your chrome showroom piece. To me that is ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE...
Jesse I have pictures and I will try to send them tomorrow. I am also going to post a few before the end of the week.
Sorry to make everyone read, BUUUTTT not to many people give credit when people do good work/service. Jesse' shafts look and work good so you would be stupid to get your shafts any where else.
Thanks again Jesse.
Andy
;) ;) ;) :)
dangerber 01-23-2002, 11:16 AM That's great, but I think you should change the subject of this post. It is very easy for someone to read the subject, and not the whole post, and start badmouthing Jess.
GloNDark 01-23-2002, 11:17 AM So what you are saying is........you have a chrome driveshaft?? And no pics?? SHEESH.........:D
Yet another great customer service story from Jesse....:D
Mr. Infinity 01-23-2002, 11:32 AM I guess you've got a point, I don't want any problems for him so it has been changed.....;)

it still reads about having a probelem with hi angle driveline on the main list of subject threads, just the sub title for your first post has been changed.
I suggest you delete this thread and restart another one with a different title since you didn't change the title the correct way. You changed it in your post, but not for the entire post. Look at the main page again and you will see what I mean.
no don't delete it it was funny as hell. i read the post cause i was gonna come in here and defend jess. i have delt with jess and know for a fact that he bust his ass to take care of every one of his customers. i have yet to hear of anybody not satisfied with his work and i always sent people to him. .....bottom line is he IS the man.
LOPPY 01-23-2002, 12:18 PM I agree with Camo. Keep it. Too funny. I too came in here fists up and ready to git it AWN. Besides Jesse's great product and business ethics, he's also got a good sense of humor :D

Mr. Infinity 01-24-2002, 08:18 AM Turning the diff will be done in late spring early summer, I had reconstructive knee surgery last fall and that put me behind getting things done. That is why Jess was such a big help, I wanted to get it to function until I can get it done right..

BillaVista 01-24-2002, 01:49 PM This is GREAT...
You read the title....you do a double take - you read it again. You think " No FAWKIN' WAY", and you glance at the hit count, and think "Some Jerk must be getting pounded for this....it can't be true" And you click ready to leap in and kick ass.....
Only to find another classic of customer service....
Sweet - I say leave the title...it'll get better press.
If you just made the title "High Angle Rocks...." I'd have read it and thought " yea, yea, we know...." and not clicked....but this get's a great story noticed.
well done Jess
wngrog 01-24-2002, 04:48 PM Jesse is thinking...."Cool, I finally dumped that aweful Chrome driveshaft!"

Po' riggity 01-24-2002, 07:44 PM I too say Jess is the man!!! Ordered an SYE from him, got it, then put it in, measured for my shaft, called him at noon that day, and it was here two days later! Can't beat that! Thanks again Jess.
Scott
Mr. Infinity 01-25-2002, 05:47 AM Well, it's not chrome anymore. It's more of a Georgia red clay color!!! It should have been on a show queen instead of my old mud truck.;) :smokin:
