I am looking into getting a truck as my first car. I have found a 93 Toyota X-Cab Pickup. I would like to know if anyone has had any major or minor problems with their trucks. It would be awesome if someone could help me out. Thanks.

Main thing to look for if it is a 3.0 V6 is whether the head gasket has been replaced or not. Otherwise they are pretty solid trucks. The 22RE 4 cyl is very reliable, just underpowered. The 3.0 V6 is not much stronger either but a little better than the 4 cyl.
I have an '89 XCab that I bought new, it has served me well. It currently has 194k on the odometer. Toyota paid for the headgasket work in '99 at 152k. Previously I adjusted the valves at 104k. So far no other engine work has been done. (knock on wood.) The original clutch is still going strong too.
If the truck has been serviced regularly and in good shape it should serve you well too.

A buddy of mine's '91 3.0L went through head gaskets like no tomorrow (& a rod bearing, too)
plus the IFS frontends are super-weak (that should go without saying, though)
I would get the 4cyl if thats what year Toyota you want.
