Hey guys,

I'll be putting Hydro assist on my Disco next week and was wondering were you think it would be best to install it. I know that Way has his right were the stock Defender steering damnper is, and that is where my steering damnper is as well...

Was thinking on welding a tab ontop of the driver's side of the pumpkin and mount the ram parallele to the axles tube connected to the rear steering link.

What about completely getting rid of the steering dampner and putting the ram in its place?

Thanks for any suggestions

Don't forget Way has a D44 front axle. So his results may vary from the Rover stuff.

I think you don't necessarily need the damper with the hydro ram, so I 'd just use the mounts that are there already and lose the damper. People do this on series landies with no problems if that helps?
