My SM 465 is falling out of low gear. When I put the shifter in to Low it doesn't feel like it fully engages. When the drivetrain has stress on it it is ok but as soon as I let my foot off the gas and crawl at idle it falls out. Wondering if anyone has had this problem or where I should start looking? Any help appreciated
ive heard some thing like that having to do with synchro gears. ask in gen 4x4

that is a common problem, all i know tho,
that it is caused by always holding the shifter while driving.
the pressure of your arm on the shifter constantly , wears some gear out inside, and then it slips out of gear.
i dunno if this is relevant to you or not but its a thought

There could be a problem with the shift rails, or the shifter itself being worn (at the end) and not fully engaging the gear.
