360 dodge/435 dodge to D300 round patteren, sold the D300, and I just sold the jeep, guy wants to know if another case will fit, I think I remember a 208 will fit, am I correct? Or what else fits the 435, D300 adapter is still on the 435 at the moment.

thx, pretty sure FULLSIZE told me the D20 is corse spline, of course I got a D20 twin stick with a T400 4sale:D

D20 Jeep/Scout has the Texas bolt pattern and uses a bull gear. Ford D20 has a round 6 bolt pattern that is different than the Jeep round bolt pattern. The Ford D20 also uses a bull gear.

I guess you can add the late model dodge 205 and 203 with the round bolt pattern will bolt up.

nope, 203s in the dodges were all their own unique bolt pattern.

I thought there were a few late model 203's that had the round bolt pattern. Oh well, you can just redrill the face of the 203 and its done :D

new question on t-cases, I just bought a 63 Chevy 4x4 with looks like a 80 blazer frame running gear 12/10 bolt combo, dropping in my 402BB ut has a T400 I think, ain't crawled under, guessing, what was stock trans case in those? if T400 will my D20 from my other T400 bolt up if this has say a 205 or 208? or do I need my adapter? will the outputshaft on all T400s be the same size spline? I might want to go 14/60 pop the d20 in and wheel this piggy:)

This might be a good question for the chevy board, heh. I've seen chevies with married 205s also seen 203 settups but have no idea what might be in an 80 chassis.

the 81 and up chevys came with either a np 205 {very good}or a np 208 chain driven {junk}
imo u cant beat the gear driven 205
the 205 & 203 {fulltime 4x4} came pre 81.the 205 has a figure 8 bolt pattern with both male & female 10 or 27 spline imputs.

except the 205 of that vintage has a slip yoke.......................

its probably a 208 with a slip yoke. the good news about this is a dodge 208 fixed yoke shaft and yoke will fit the chebby case.:beer:
