I need to put the stock fuel tank back in my 85 CJ7 so I need the whole 9 yards. Tank, Straps, Neck, Filler, and sending unit.
I need the rear compartment for kids so the fuel cell has to go.
Any advise would be great. Hell a :flipoff2: will even make me happy today

Don't think it will work, but I have a 19 gallon TJ tank for sale. As for 'bargains'.... Specialtyparts.com has what you need for a fair price. All parts new, of course.

Buy them straight from the mfg - good tanks, and non-stock configs also. They make some cool passenger side tanks for flattys too.

I got a bad one once, and they had a replacement out to me the next day, even before I returned the bad one.

I just got a steel replacement from Rosser Jeep. About 80.00 for the tank and I think 30.00 for the sending unit. Their hoses were a little expensive. You could try Tellico, I think they had pretty good prices too.
