Are those the only two? I was just about to post this question.

I have been trying to line up a pair of Tera60R axles for the Heep. I've called around to places other than the ones mentioned. It seems like the only stumbling block is the front knuckles.

I looked on the Avalanche website and they only talked about 1-1/2 ton knuckles:eek:

Anybody else know where is a good source?

I believe dynarape is the only place that is selling both "sides" of the knuckle..I am not sure but I think Avalanche might get theirs from dynarape or they could be making their own...wagoner makes their own custom ones....The guys at SUNRAY enginering are probably going to be producing their own knuckles because they can't get them fast enough to build their hybrid axles...Sunray is also producing their own bearing hubs....get this..the guy that runs the shop told me it only costs them like 25 bucks to have bearing hubs produced:eek: ...not lockouts.....BEARING HUBS....now that is a deal...

Try boyve equipment. They seem to have a lot of D60 parts and I bought a used spindle from them about a year ago.

Can't you get what you need at a junkyard, chevy and dodge D60's are cheaper than the ford. Just cut the knuckles off.

I've thought about this! I thought I might try to find one at a yard and take in a BF cutoff wheel and slice off the whole knuckle ends. Honestly, I don't know which ones would be the desirable ones to snag.

And then, I'm an anal retentive bastard and think if I'm getting everything else new, I might as well get the knuckles new too.

what junk yard is gonna let you take the inner knuckle off the housing, none that i know of they know a d60 is worth a good 1k and arent gonna let you molest it for the iiners and outser and leave the housing. they get more for the whole thing.

I recently saw in an ad in the Easter Jeep Safari publication that TeraFlex is also selling HD housing ends. Check it out. Jeff

I can probably get used ones for you for fairly cheap - let me know if you want me to check (ie - send me an email).
