I sell a ton of stuff there , they get a % of your listing price for example if you want to start the bid at 20.00 they may get .90 for it no matter what it ends up selling for .A while back I sold a sami on there I think it cost me 55.00 to do it. The key is to start the bid low, and get lots of people interested :smokin:

I like e-bay alot alot alot~I've only had one bad experience in all my transactions there~the high bidder didn't pay so I didn't ship the item no big deal~ you can check peoples feedback to see how their past dealings have gone:D

ive bought a lot of parts off of e-bay and no problems. when looking for an item you need to search for the item in different forms example : arb locker, air locker, arb air locker and locker ive found items listed in maybe only one catagory and its not in any of the other catagorys. if it listed in several catagorys then their are more buyers .

I know i ramble on and on

Yeah - if you sell something like an ARB locker, don't just list it as a "Samurai Air locker" - call it something like: "ARB locker air locker locking differential - Samurai".

Also, the best way to buy something cheap is to do the search for something that no one else thinks to search for. Sooner or later, you'll see an 8000 lb. wench item with no bids. I found a warn M8000 like that once for $250! But I'd already bought my Superwinch X9.

I did end up getting a 32MB memory card for my digital camera for $5, though. It was listed as: "comapct flash card - 32MB" and I was the only one who searched for that spelling error.

So double check your spelling if you're selling.

Also, I've never bid on an item with MORE than 10 seconds left in it's time. It might be cheap, but bidding with 2 seconds left pretty much assures you that you won't be outbid - but you have to set your max bid a little high, since you may not bid higher than anyone else has set their reserve that way.

I bought my 95 Sidekick 2-door off e-bay! That would have cost me 5 grand in Denver, but I got it for 2950 in Dallas! And the seller picked me up at the airport!
