I have puchased A D-60 out of a 79 F-350 but didn't get the calipers. I thought I could pick up some at any parts store. I didn't know that they were two piece and only the piston half would be avialible. I have found that the 3/4 ton ford D-44 ran the same breaks. does anybody have any of these brackets? I am dieing to get this thing under my truck. HELP!!!!! please:mad3:

Be careful, there are two sizes of the 'large' dual piston caliper. I have the same 60 as you and they are larger than the dual calipers from the 44 3/4 tons. Then will not interchange. You just have to keep scrounging the wrecking yards. You might also check with an outfit in Beaverton OR called "All Drum and Rotor".

The sizing is a year swap thing. I forget the year but if it's HP 60 then you can use ones of 77-79 44.

I have been hunting the salvage yards localy but have had no luck. Any leads would be aprieciated. Other wise I will have to try to swap out the whole knuckles for @$#vy's D-60 knuckles. I have access to some it just requiers a big road trip to get the and I not 100% sure they will work. If the knuckles work will my hubs and rotors fit the @#$vy spindles?
