So today I decided to take apart the rear window motor and assembly- (70fj55) trying to figure out why the window was struggling and not working properly. When I finally took it out and opened up the gears, I found that my plastic ring gear was in three pieces...

Any other pig owners have this problem? And if so, how might I fix it, or locate a new one?

I am going to attempt to fix it with epoxy and maybe with some metal rings for reinforcement. But we'll see how that goes...

I agree with Rhino, don't bother trying to fix it because it will just break again and you will have to then go through the PIA process of fixing it again.

When I replaced mine it was $22.00 + S&H from Spector, part number 138-18 I believe.

I just got off the phone with Man-A-Fre, and the part is on the way. He thought that it had been discontinued, but they still had one in stock. Only 18 bucks and change (wonder what shipping will cost). Anyways. Thanks RHINO and Cruiserhaven-
