I've been there about 8 years ago in the middle of summer. Place is loaded with rattlers and was hotter than hell. Only did a little wheeling, our main objective on that trip was to blow sh!t up! But I never been there in the winter, I would imagine it would be a soup bowl. If memory serves me correctly there was a rock quary in the area, might be a good place for some rock crawling!:skull:

Ive been there once, about 6 months ago. Only covered the west half. Didnt find anything good but there is a shitload of country, there HAS to be something. Let me know if you find anything. Not much in the way of people out there so be ready to get yourself out of whatever you get into, itll be muddy!

only trails there are AKA Fire Roads. boring as hell on a dirtbike, ive only seen one pic of anyone doing anything remotly fun. i would imagine its mud city when its raining though:D

I believe you are allowed to shoot there. Want to get in some target practice as well? (haven't fired my rifle yet)

R U talking about the knoxville just out of lowerlake? If so, there are some nasty rutty hill climbs, at least on a quad. A lot of small rocks, and some bigger. A lot of brush! But I haven't seen everything!

That place sucks.. some guys just Died out there last weekend went off the Cliff at Cow Mountain

Knoxville and Cow Mtn arent the same place.

The rig @ Cow Mtn rolled down a hill, after stalling and going backwards out of control.

One of the people who died was STANDING in the pick-up bed, tragic and stupid.

Knoxville might only have fireroads now, but BLM is open to new opportunites. If you find an area with potential, and it gets done right, there might be someting good someday.
