Have no room up fron to run a taurus fan, and can't push the motor any further back in my GPW. Could run a flex fan, but I do a lot of water crossing and would kill the radiator. Have all kind of room to mount the radiator in the back. Was going to bolt it upright lines facing forward and run pipe to the motor with only about 6" at the motor end and 6" at the radiator end. Any wierd thing I need to take into consideration about mounting it in the back of the vehicle?
Thanks,
John Purdy

Can you cut the grill back more? Buddy of mine just moved the radiator to the back of his blazer. He is having to create ducting to pull air into the radiator for the freeway. Otherwise, its in a pocket and doesn't see alot of air. He was overheating from this and the issue went away with the duct work.

I'd have to space the grill out about 4.5" to get it to fit . Its an original GPW grill thats rust and dent free, I'd like to try and leave it uncut if at all possible. Other than airflow, would the piping work provided I could keep airflow on it? Its got a stock GM short nose water pump on a small block if that matters.

I'd cut the rear section of grill shell out, push the rad all the way forward up to the slats. Alot of folks do it this way.

if your going to put the rad in the rear make sure the top of the rad is a bit higher than the motor.
