I was looking at the killby onboard air bracket that mounts a york compressor vertically. Does anyone know how this would effect the lubrication system? I was thinking of fabbing up a similar mount for my YJ and using his alternator pully to run it. Also does anyone have good idea for what tank to use and were to mount it on a 6cyl/5sp YJ ?

A york can be ran horizontally or vertically. It came both ways from the factory.

have you spent any time reading all the stuff at www.onboardair.com? try there for starters.

He has a kit for your engine, with or without air.

http://www.onboardair.com/ke-1550/ke-1550.html

He sells tanks too :)

Here's the service manual (all sections) for the compressor. http://www.ccicompressor.com/SrvcManl.htm

Then hit the web and see all of the YJ installs out there...

Check back in when you get it done :flipoff2:
