Looking for the thickness of the stock rear spring pack from an '87 - '96 YJ. Thanks.

THe width is 2.5"

The front spring pack was 4 leaf and the rear was 5 leaf from the factory.

each leaf is roughly 3/16 to 1/4" thick. Don't forget about the elusive factory double main leaf 6 leaf pack.

thanks. that's actually the spring pack I'm putting in. what are your opinions on the 5 vs 6 leaf pack? this is going in the front of my '85 4Runner :D

I've only found 1 set of factory 6 leafers, and they're a pretty nice pack.

mine are actually aftermarket springs, but I had the choice between the 5 and 6 leaf pack. figured I'd go with the 6 leaf and pull a leaf if I needed to. hoping to get about 3" of lift outta the springs. thanks again for the info :beer: :beer: :beer:
