Hey all, still a newbie here I need to know what type of exhaust system to use on my 1980 FJ40 that has full emissions with catalytic converter. Currently my exhaust tip exits the back of the truck and now that I have put on hard doors and one of Eshan's tops I can not roll up the windows with out :barf: now it is way too hot inside. I do not need the catalytic converter b/c the truck is exempt but , can I do away with it? If so will it effect the o2 sensor? Should I take this to a muffler shop and say go for it or should I go with a performance type muffler ie. flowmaster cat if yes who sells them for a good price.
I do not have headers.

no real help, except the fj40 and fj60 didn't have a O2 sensor, its a thermal sensor. I see no reason to keep the cat, but the TS needs to go someplace....I think.
