: rear d60 discs question

does anyone know what are my options with discs on a rear 6o with a bolt pattern of 5 on 5.5.I know currie has there explorer style conversion , anyone else out there.Keep in mind i need hand brake capablity as its 5 speed and my daily driver.thanks guys...

Dutchman sells the Explorer style kit too and can hook you up, another option is the caddy style calipers but I don't think they work that great, I've used them. I've used both and I prefer the Explorer style setup in terms of braking capability but neither e-brake works that great...the explorer style gives you less headaches, IMHO.

I just got done with a d60 5 on 5.5 disc conversion on my YJ. I used a warn full floating kit, and made my own caliper mounting brackets out of grand wagoneer front mounting brackets. I'm not running an e-brake, just a line lock. e-mail me if you want more info or some pics

hey man thanks, but i need e-brake in order to pass state inspection . otherwise i would use line locks.

I used the Lincoln disc set up. You have to weld Ford ends on housing, and machine the axles to fit the rotor, but it works great. And the e-brake works good too.:D
