Why don't all these guys with buggies have power boosters???
Is it just a space thing, or a brake feel thing?
I would think that with low gearing the motor is going to over power the brakes. do they take it out of gear every stop?

I don't know about the buggies but I am working on dumping the power booster in the Tonka. I am just sick of the feel. I have tried a number of MC and just am not satisfied. Besides without the booster you will still have brakes even when the engine dies.
For me the tough part has been getting a setup that will stop a 6000 lb truck, but it can be done.

I stil got brakes when the engine dies, real hard pedal but I'd say equal to having no booster.

My twin 7/8" CNC manual brakes I have on the RockIt are way better than the custom power booster with corvette M/C I have in the Jeep...The RockIt weighs the same and has 40's instead of 35's.
In fact, I like the manual brakes so much, I just bought another twin CNC manual M/C setup for the jeep. Jody just put his in a few months ago...he seems to like it as well.

Where in the San Diego area can I go to check out the CNC stuff. I have been to Wilwood and seen their products but I think CNC might have a pedal assembly that will work better for me.
