ok ive spotted a trailer at a good price, only problem is its only 6.5 feet wide 78 inches, my cruiser full width and 2.5 inch back spaced wheels. would it be a great deal of work to add say 8-10 inches to teh flat bed part behind teh wheels and in front of em? i think this would then make it wide enough to house the turd wagon! any ideas? jiMMy

it wouldn't be that hard to do what you are talking but that trailer has a slight dove tail so it would be at 2 different levels. because you would not want to cut the the uprights on the rear of the trailer unless you were doing some more bracing underneath.

yeah, i would trim the lame like 3 inchs on siding to make it flush then add 8-10 inchs on each side to make teh flat bed wider. jIMMy

Cut off the lip on each side and beef up the fenderwells so you can drive right over them.. you tires will hang over 4-5 inches but it will be okay !! :D

Either that or make the fenders removeable and drive over the tires.
