I tried the search with less than stellar results.
Are the SSR's excellent tires for AZ rocks and daily driving? I've heard the sidewalls aren't as good as my MTR's. Thanks!

they're very, very heavy. i think that in AZ, MTRs would be a better choice

I weighed my 37" MTR's today and they are 90 lbs. on aluminum wheels.

i have 37ss'r on my runner and have been brutal on them and they are still holding fine.been on runs like prichett caynon and went to hot springs this weekend.i have watched them wrap up around edges and closed my eyes because i thought they would rip.they are ok for highway use but i have seen better.so far so good...

I would look into the Trxus M/T. They work great offroad but are still smooth on the highway. I have run 33's for almost a year now without problems.

ssr's wear like any swamper will, fast.

mt/r's will last longer on the street, and probably perform better on dry rocks.

I disagree. My buddy has had a set of 35's on his YJ now for 3+ years, still look brand new. Granted, he only drives 20-30 miles a day, but it is his daily driver, and they seem to be holding up quite well.

I don't know about AZ rocks though, we only have IN rocks and mud. :D

Thanks! Guys... I'll stick with MTR's. I appreciate the help.
